Do you want to give me advice on how to play Roy better? Do you want to let me know what I'm doing right? Do you just want to plot? Well, this is the post to do that! First, my contact info:

If you want to give me feedback on how I'm playing, all I ask is two things.

1) Be polite. The less polite you are, the more likely your feedback is to be ignored. I will happily listen to anyone who addresses grievances in a polite manner, however.

2) Tell me why I'm doing well/poorly. Comments like "You're doing a great job!" or "You need work," while they tell me a general opinion, don't tell me enough to raise my confidence or help me improve. If you think I'm doing it right, tell me why I'm doing it right. Conversely, if I'm doing it wrong, tell me how you think it should be done instead. Usage of examples is highly recommended. I'm a visual learner, so actually being able to see examples of what you're talking about helps me out tremendously, and furthermore, arms you with evidence in your favor.

So, with those points in mind, feel free to give me feedback!

[Roy walks out of the gym triumphantly, a Rainbow Badge in his hand. He turns around and waves to the women who gathered outside the front door, all of them calling "good-bye, Roy" and "Come back soon!"

However, this means he isn't watching where he's going, and so something bounces off his leg. He turns around and looks...

...and sees an Eevee. A familiar looking one, at that.]

Hey...Elsie?

[At the sound of her name, the Eevee runs up and begans rubbing up against Roy's legs, looking utterly distraught.]

...no...

[Roy was at a loss for words...and for just about anything else. He sands there, frozen, for a while.]

To those who knew Brigadier General Maes Hughes: he has disappeared. I have his Eevee and his Alakazam. If you received any of his Pokémon, let me know so we can account for them.

Ah, the fresh mountain air. I'm not a big mountain guy, but this is still nice.

Anyway, I have to question the level of intelligence of the gym leader here. I mean, setting up a Dragon-type gym right next to a cavern filled with Ice-type Pokémon? Talk about giving your challengers all the tools they need to beat you. Sure, you've got the Dragon's Den nearby, but I'm sure there's a better way to set this up on the gym staff's part.

So, Hughes. Long time, no see. Enjoying the weather?

[Video; Action for Olivine City]

[The feed is showing a scene in the Olivine City Gym. Roy is standing in front of the camera, with Jasmine on the other end of the battlefield.]]

I'm ready whenever you are. The sooner we get this battle finished, the better.

[Jasmine says something that's inaudible from the camera's vantage point, and sends out her first Pokémon -- a Skarmory.]

A bird, eh? No problem, I've got the perfect counter!

[But as Roy throws the Poké Ball, something different happens. The usual gym leader music gets overridden, and an extremely triumphant piece begins to play as a Charizard emerges.

Then, all is lost to the camera as the Charizard takes flight and begins blasting fire. Within short order, the Skarmory falls to the ground. Jasmine recalls it and sends out a Magneton. Charizard doesn't slow down, and it goes down quickly, followed by her Steelix.

But even her Steelix can't withstand the might of the flames. It, too, falls quickly.

Ladies and gentlemen, Roy may have just set a record for the shortest gym battle against Jasmine.

Roy calls his Charizard back and accepts his Mineral Badge. As he walks back over, he grabs the camera.]

Six down, two to go!

[Cut feed.]
